Wanted Perth-Andover man found, arrested
Western Valley RCMP had issued advisory that James Hovey, 28, sought for several crimes
A Perth-Andover man wanted on an outstanding warrant of arrest has been found and is in custody, the Western Valley detachment of the RCMP reports.
In a news release issued two weeks ago, the detachment said James Hovey, 28, was being sought by police in connection with charges alleging possession of property valued at more than $5,000 obtained by crime and breach of probation order.
“James Hovey is also wanted in connection with a number of recent offences in the western region of the province,” the release said, noting a warrant had been issued for his arrest.
In a followup release issued Wednesday, the Western Valley detachment advised that Hovey had been located and taken into custody.
