Police renew plea for tips on whereabouts of Chelsea Sacobie, 30, gone for 2½ months now
UPDATE: Police reported Oct. 21 that Chelsea Sacobie had been found and was safe.
A Fredericton woman who was reported missing earlier this summer still hasn’t been found, reports the city police force, which turned to the public again for information Sunday.
The Fredericton Police Force issued a social-media alert July 19 seeking information from the public on the whereabouts of city resident Chelsea Sacobie, 30.
“Sacobie was reported missing to Fredericton police on June 25 and still has not been located,” the advisory said.
In an update Sunday, the force advised Sacobie is still among the missing, 2 ½ months after she was last seen..
“Despite several attempts to locate her, tips, leads and information from the public, we have not been successful in finding her,” police posted on social media Sunday.
Sacobie is described as being 5’10” tall, weighing about 205 pounds, with dark, shoulder-length brown hair. She’s known to wear glasses.
Anyone with information about Sacobie’s whereabouts or that could lead to her being found is urged to call the Fredericton Police Force at 506-460-2300.
