Fredericton woman reported missing again
Police seek assistance from public in determining whereabouts of Chelsea Sacobie, 30
UPDATE: Police reported Oct. 21 that Chelsea Sacobie had been found and was safe.
A Fredericton woman who’s been reported as missing several times in the past year is once again the subject of a search, reports the city police force.
The Fredericton Police Force issued an alert Friday afternoon on social media asking for the public’s help in finding city resident Chelsea Sacobie, 30.
“Sacobie was reported missing to Fredericton police on June 25 and still has not been located,” the advisory said.
Sacobie is described as being 5’10” tall, weighing about 205 pounds, with dark, shoulder-length brown hair. She’s known to wear glasses.
Anyone with information about Sacobie’s whereabouts or that could lead to her being found is urged to call the Fredericton Police Force at 506-460-2300. Tips can also be provided to Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-222-8477 for those wishing to remain anonymous.
Tipsters can cite police file no. 14146.
This marks the sixth time in the past year that Sacobie has been announced as a missing person by police.
She was twice reported as missing last month and three times last fall.
