Very often, when people use an i-phone to take selfies, the image is reversed. I am going to guess the images of this guy are from his facebook account.
The story suggests the tattoo is on the Right side of the face; it is not, it is on the Left side. Check the photograph.
That was the information provided by police. Plus, a lot of selfies are reverse images due to camera settings.
It's a moot point now, as he's been located and arrested. But I'll make a note to double-check down the line.
