Fredericton man accused of 2015 sex crime

Jeffrey James Tidd, 29, set to return to court next month to elect mode of trial, enter plea

A Fredericton man is facing an allegation of sexual assault dating back almost a decade.

Jeffrey James Tidd, 29, of Regent Street, made his first appearance in Fredericton provincial court Wednesday on an indictable count of sexual assault.

The charge alleges an offence against a female complainant on Oct. 31, 2015, in Fredericton.
