I am very tired of the anti-mandaters who just can’t realize that the government has a right, some would say an obligation, to enforce laws to protect public health during a pandemic.
This is a really well written, long article; much better than the single paragraph that would have appeared in traditional print media.
It is surprising that a Self-Represented Litigant made it all the way to the Court of Appeal. I spent 12+ years working in a courthouse library where I dealt with many such individuals, and the vast majority of them lacked the skills to get that far in the process.

As for self-represented litigants making it to the Court of Appeal, I've seen it happen somewhat frequently over the years. The courts have an obligation to guide self-reps through the process, and I've seen judges at all three levels of court do so with patience and latitude.
