Making excuses for this guy makes them enablers. And it should have been at least 15 years.

I don't think they were excuses. I think they were people who truly love their brother and want him to get well. They didn't plead for him to be spared prison or for a lesser sentence. Some families choose to cut ties to save themselves pain, which is fine. Others see their love persist despite the pain.

Who ever heard of that 1 1/2 for 1 Credit thing ??? A "Bonus" for being in Jail , for commiting violent dangerous drug-induced crimes ? Something not right , there ... 🤔

That 1.5-to-1 credit has been in effect for DECADES, and I've mentioned it repeatedly in my coverage. The legal reasoning is that remand time is considered much harsher incarceration that regular jail time. Those on remand don't have access to the same programs as other inmates. Furthermore, remand time is done when one still has a presumption of innocence.
