Woodstock woman’s death suspicious - RCMP
Mounties seek tips about Rachelle Paget, 34, who was found dead in Medford on June 15
Police have deemed the death of a Woodstock woman whose body was found last weekend to be suspicious, and they’re hoping members of the public can shed some light on the case.
The RCMP’s major crime unit issued a news release Friday evening about Rachelle Paget, 34, of Woodstock, whose body was discovered the evening of June 15 in the Saint John River in Medford, about 90 kilometres north of Woodstock.
“On June 15, 2025, at approximately 11:50 a.m., police received a report of a missing 34-year-old woman from Woodstock, who was last seen on June 13,” the release said, noting her body was found later that day.
“The New Brunswick RCMP’s major crime unit is now investigating her death as suspicious and is asking anyone who may have had contact with Rachelle Paget between June 13 and 15 to get in touch with police.”
Police have also since recovered Rachelle Paget’s car, it said, and investigators are also interested in hearing from witnesses who may have seen it between June 13 and 18.
The vehicle is a red 2022 Chevrolet Trailblazer crossover with New Brunswick licence plate NGP 892.
