A Woodstock man admitted Monday he communicated online with a minor in Fredericton a year ago in an effort to secure pornographic images of the underage victim.

Jason Kuhndel, 19, of Broadway Street in Woodstock, appeared in Fredericton provincial court Monday with defence lawyer Patrick Hurley to answer to two indictable charges alleging sex-related offences involving a child.

Kuhndel stood accused of making sexually explicit material available to a minor and luring that underage complainant online in Fredericton between Jan. 1 and March 30, 2023.
