Missing Woodstock First Nation girl found safe
Teen hadn't been seen since Wednesday, but Mounties now report she's been located
A 15-year-old girl from the Woodstock First Nation who was reported as being missing since Wednesday evening has been located and is safe, the RCMP reports.
The Western Valley Region detachment of the RCMP issued a news release Friday advising that the teenage girl had last been seen at an address in the community Wednesday at about 7 p.m., and officers were seeking tips on her whereabouts.
However, in a followup release Friday afternoon, the detachment reported the girl had been located safe.
The RCMP it thanked the public for its assistance with the matter.
