Woodstock-area man reported missing

The RCMP is hoping members of the public can provide information to aid in the effort to locate a man from Hartford, near Woodstock, who was reported as missing on the weekend.
The Western Valley region detachment of the RCMP issued a news release late Saturday, seeking tips from the public on the whereabouts of Kris McConnell, 32, of Hartford.
“Kris McConnell was last seen on Aug. 9, 2025, at approximately 1:40 p.m., at a business on Route 550, in Hartford. He was reported missing to police the same day,” it said.
“Police have followed up on several leads to try and locate him, but have so far been unsuccessful. Police and his family are concerned for his well-being.”
When last spotted, police reported, McConnell was a passenger in a black Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Z71.
McConnell is described as being about 5’4” (163 centimetres) tall, weighing about 160 pounds (73 kilograms), with green eyes and blonde hair.
He was last seen wearing a white shirt, the release said.
