A Mazerolle Settlement woman has been charged criminally and under provincial animal-protection legislation with neglecting a number of horses late last year.

Angela M. Rumble, 67, of Mazerolle Settlement Road, made her first appearance in Fredericton provincial court Thursday to answer to charges laid by New Brunswick SPCA animal-protection officers.
She’s accused under the Criminal Code of Canada of neglecting horses she owned or for which she had custody by failing to provide suitable and adequate food and/or care for them at Mazerolle Settlement between Dec. 16 and 24.
