The chief of the Welamukotuk (Oromocto) First Nation now stands accused of trying to bribe a witness to subvert the course of justice, as well as a violent home invasion.
Welamukotuk Chief Shelley Marie Sabattis, 56, was set to make her first appearance in Fredericton provincial court Wednesday on serious charges, along with others, members of her family and residents of the First Nation located within the Town of Oromocto.
