Warrant out for woman facing fentanyl charge

A woman accused of holding fentanyl for trafficking purposes was a no-show for her first scheduled court appearance Monday, prompting a judge to issue a warrant for her arrest.

Anne Victoria Martin-McKay, 49, of no fixed address, was slated to appear in Fredericton provincial court Monday to answer to Jan. 30 counts of possessing fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking, possessing morphine and possessing $545 in cash deemed to be the proceeds of crime.
