Missing Upper Kingsclear man found
Mounties sought tips on whereabouts of Patrick Kelly, 40, who hadn't been seen in weeks
The Upper Kingsclear man whom the RCMP reported last week as having been missing for a month has been found and is safe, police reported Tuesday.
The force’s Keswick detachment issued a news release Aug. 14 about Patrick Kelly, 40, who was reported to police as missing.
But while his disappearance was reported to authorities Aug. 14, he’d been gone for quite some time.
“Patrick Kelly was last seen the week of July 15, 2024, at a residence on Mazerolle Settlement Road in Upper Kingsclear. He was reported missing to police on Aug. 14,” the RCMP news release said.
“Police have followed up on several leads to try and locate him, but have so far been unsuccessful. Police and his family are concerned for his well-being.”
However, in a followup release issued Tuesday morning, the RCMP stated Kelly had been located and was safe.
The force thanked the public for its assistance in the case.
