A University of New Brunswick professor has been ordered to participate in addictions treatment after admitting he had double the legal limit of booze in his system when he was driving midday in the spring.
James Timothy McGarry, 58, of Mitchell Street in Fredericton, pleaded guilty in Fredericton provincial court Tuesday to a count of having an elevated blood-alcohol level within two hours of driving.
