A Nova Scotia man accused of inflicting bodily harm on a complainant during a sexual assault at Base Gagetown more than three decades ago will stand trial early next year.

Douglas Bourque, 68, of Middle West Pubnico, N.S., faces a charge of sexual assault causing bodily harm to a complainant, alleged to have occurred between Aug. 1 and Oct. 1, 1988, at Base Gagetown.

There’s a court-ordered publication ban in place protecting the identity of the complainant.
