Trial dates set on trafficking allegations
Corey Steven Jason Jones, 35, to remain in custody pending proceedings in early 2026
A capital-region man accused of drug-trafficking and driving crimes denied the allegations Tuesday, and his trials on those matters were set for early next year.
Corey Steven Jason Jones, 35, whose address is listed in court records as Maliseet Court on the Bilijk (Kingsclear) First Nation, was back before Fredericton provincial court, appearing by telephone from the Saint John Regional Correctional Centre.
Present in person was defence counsel Denis Sawyer, who said his client was prepared to enter pleas.
