Trafficking suspect headed to trial
Shawn Mitchell Wright, 49, of Fredericton, denies allegations including fentanyl possession
A Fredericton man will stand trial later this year and early next on drug-trafficking allegations after denying the charges this week in provincial court.
Shawn Mitchell Wright, 49, of Neighbourly Way, appeared in Fredericton provincial court Thursday by video conference to answer to serious drug charges.

He was represented by defence counsel Carley Parish, who joined the proceedings by telephone.
Wright is accused of possessing fentanyl and morphine for the purpose of trafficking and possessing $545 in Canadian currency believed to be the proceeds of crime.
