Tracyville woman resists release conditions
Accused of assaulting two people with car, Amanda Jean Fox, 45, argues with judge over requested driving prohibition, but relents upon learning she’d be remanded over weekend
A Tracyville woman accused of running down her boyfriend and another woman with a Toyota became frantic Thursday upon learning she’d be barred from driving while her case was before the courts.
Amanda Jean Fox, 45, of Route 101, appeared in Fredericton provincial court from the RCMP detachment in Oromocto on Thursday morning to answer to new charges.
She’s accused of assaulting Kevin Lapointe and Tammy Buffett with a weapon - a 2022 Toyota Corolla - and a related count of dangerous driving.
The RCMP charges allege Wednesday events.
