Tobique cop shop to close for eight weeks
Public counter at RCMP detachment at Tobique First Nation unavailable due to renovations
Members of the public looking to pop into the Mounties’ base of operations on the Tobique First Nation will be met with a closed door in the coming weeks.
The New Brunswick RCMP announced on social media Tuesday afternoon that its Tobique detachment’s reception area is getting a facelift.

The RCMP said it “would like to advise the public that front counter services at the Tobique First Nation RCMP Detachment will be unavailable for approximately eight weeks, while the detachment undergoes renovations,” it said in a post.
“In the meantime, front counter services will be provided from the Perth-Andover detachment.”
