A fraud suspect who was a no-show for court late last year has been arrested on a warrant, and he and two other suspects face additional criminal charges.
The Fredericton Police Force issued a news release Tuesday morning indicating officers with the street-crimes unit and the patrol division effected arrests of three people last Thursday.
“Two individuals were arrested on fraud charges stemming from distributing counterfeit U.S. currency around the province and one individual was arrested on theft of vehicle charges,” the release said.
Arrested and remanded into custody were Tyler Joshua Depow, 33, formerly of Oromocto, and Tye Evan Nichol, 26, of Northside Drive in Minto.
