Teens accused in stolen-vehicles cases
Two 16-year-old boys charged in youth court Friday were remanded pending bail hearings
Two teenage suspects detained this week by Fredericton police in connection with investigations into recent vehicle thefts in the capital are being held in custody pending bail hearings.
The two 16-year-old boys - one from Fredericton, the other from Geary - appeared in Fredericton youth court by telephone in separate proceedings from the city police station cellblock Friday.
The defendants’ identities are protected by the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
