Teen accused of second-degree murder
Bail hearing set for next week for 17-year-old charged in sudden death in Nasonworth
A teenage boy has been charged with second-degree murder in what police called a fatal weapon assault in Nasonworth on Monday.
The New Brunswick RCMP reported Monday that officers were dispatched to a home on Nelson Drive in Nasonworth at about 11 a.m. Monday morning after receiving a report of an assault with a weapon.
Upon arrival, officers found a 34-year-old man who died on the scene as a result of his injuries, a spokesperson for the Mounties said, and a 17-year-old male was arrested nearby shortly thereafter.
