Leo Hartt, 43, last seen in Oromocto on Wednesday; Mounties seek tips to locate him
UPDATE: The RCMP reported July 15 that Hartt had been found, deceased.
A Swan Creek man has been reported as missing to the RCMP, and police are hoping members of the public can help with the effort to locate him.
The RCMP’s Oromocto detachment issued a news release Saturday morning, advising that Leo Hartt, 43, of Swan Creek, about 20 kilometres west of Oromocto, had been reported as missing.
“Leo Hartt was last seen on July 3, 2024 at 7:45 a.m., at a business located on Restigouche Road in Oromocto, N.B.,” it said.
“Police have followed up on several leads to try to locate him but have so far been unsuccessful. Police and his family are concerned for his well-being.”
Hartt is described as being about 6’1” (185 centimetres) tall, weighing about 189 pounds (86 kilograms), with blue eyes and blonde hair.
The RCMP said he was last seen wearing a long sleeve T-shirt, blue jeans and white sneakers.
