Sunbury-York South CAO headed to trial
Through counsel, Marjorie Turner, 53, has denied alleged failures to disclose documents
An administrator with a rural community in the capital region will stand trial next summer on allegations she breached provincial legislation requiring her to show documents to municipal residents.
Marjorie Turner, 53, of Gore Road in Fredericton Junction, is the chief administrative officer (CAO) with the rural municipality of Sunbury-York South, and she was charged this spring with two charges under the Local Governance Act.
Those provincial charges allege she failed to provide documents to members of the public at the municipal office as required by the Local Governance Act.
