A municipal official at the centre of controversy in the Sunbury-York South Rural Community has been charged in court with violating provincial legislation aimed at ensuring transparency.
Marjorie Turner, 53, of Gore Road in Fredericton Junction, the chief administrative officer (CAO) with the recently amalgamated rural municipality of Sunbury-York South, faces two charges filed by the RCMP under a rarely used section of the Local Governance Act.
