Student denies break-in, assault

A University of New Brunswick student denied allegations Friday that he committed a home invasion on College Hill and assaulted someone with a weapon late last year.
Ahsanujjaman Tanvir, 19, of George Street, was accompanied in Fredericton provincial court Friday by defence lawyer Wanda Severns.
The defendant faces Dec. 18 charges of breaking and entering into a Graham Avenue home with the intent of committing an indictable offence, and assaulting Abir Zitu with a weapon (a glass mug).
