Shotgun suspect released on conditions
John Kevin Crichton, 31, of Central Waterville, to return to court June 30 to face charges
A Central Waterville man remanded last week on an allegation involving pointing a shotgun at another man has been freed from custody on conditions pending the outcome of his case.
John Kevin Crichton, 31, appeared in Fredericton provincial court in person and in custody Monday morning, scheduled to go through a bail hearing.
He faces June 3 charges of pointing a firearm at Andre Fillion, illegally possessing a Maverick 88 pump-action shotgun, occupying a motor vehicle knowing there was a shotgun therein, transporting/storing the shotgun improperly and driving while impaired by alcohol, all in Central Hainesville, about 50 kilometres west of Fredericton.
