Brandon Drew Hatchard, 37, of Riverview Street in Perth-Andover, previously elected to be tried in provincial court and pleaded not guilty to counts of discharge of a pump-action shotgun at Colton Livingston with intent to harm him, possession of the shotgun for a purpose dangerous to the public peace; possession without a licence and knowing he didn’t have a licence for it; and breach of a court-ordered firearms prohibition.

The charges stem from an alleged incident in Sheffield, east of Fredericton, on Nov. 6, 2022.
