A Perth-Andover man whom RCMP believes took aim at another man in the capital region two years ago has been released from custody on conditions.

Brandon Drew Hatchard, 36, of Riverview Street, appeared in Fredericton provincial court by video conference from the Saint John Regional Correctional Centre on Tuesday, scheduled to go through a bail hearing.

He was remanded after being charged earlier this month with counts of discharging a pump-action shotgun at Colton Livingston with intent to harm him; possessing the shotgun for a purpose dangerous to the public peace; possessing it without a licence; possessing it knowing he didn’t have such a licence; and breaching a court-ordered ban from possessing weapons, all on Nov. 6, 2022, in Sheffield.
