Sex offender is no-show in court - again
Richard Todd Mann, 39, of no fixed address, was released on Crown consent 3 weeks ago
A convicted sex offender previously released by the Crown on conditions after missing court appearances for a charge of violating a registration order again failed to attend court Monday.
Richard Todd Mann, 39, of no fixed address, is accused of violating an order issued by a judge requiring him to register annually as a sex offender, and specifically failing to do so May 17, 2024.
He appeared in Fredericton provincial court three weeks ago in custody by video for a bail hearing, having missed earlier court dates on that charge, but the Crown agreed to his release subject to a judicial release order instead.
