An elderly Fredericton motorist drew attention when he staggered away from a store and got into his SUV in the spring, court heard last week, earning the senior a fine and driving ban.
Ronald Normand Prendergast, 78, of Byng Street, appeared in Fredericton provincial court Friday to answer to an allegation of impaired driving.
He pleaded guilty to having an elevated blood-alcohol level within two hours of driving.
