Second teen admits to downtown Irving holdup
Bilijk First Nation boy will remain in custody at youth jail pending sentencing, set for May
A second teenage suspect charged with attempted robbery and other offences after a stolen Mercedes smashed into the front of a downtown gas station has pleaded guilty to multiple crimes.
A 15-year-old Bilijk (Kingsclear) First Nation boy - whose identity is protected by the Youth Criminal Justice Act - appeared in Fredericton youth court remotely Thursday from the New Brunswick Youth Centre in Miramichi.
He faced a long list of charges, many of which stemmed from an Oct. 19 incident at the Irving gas station and Circle K Convenience store on King Street in downtown Fredericton.
Defence lawyer Angèle Normand said her client was prepared to plead guilty to all counts.
