A Bilijk (Kingsclear) First Nation man who was remanded last month on an allegation he pointed a sawed-off shotgun at someone was set free on conditions Thursday.

Seth Peterson Solomon, 24, of Porcupine Court, appeared in Fredericton provincial court by video conference from jail Thursday, scheduled to go through a bail hearing.

The Fredericton Police Force arrested him a month ago and laid May 7 charges of pointing a firearm at Tanner Martin, possessing a sawed-off shotgun for the purpose of committing an offence, possessing that shotgun without a licence, occupying a motor vehicle knowing that shotgun was in there, storing the shotgun carelessly and breaching a probation order.
