A Fredericton man accused of robbing and assaulting a woman with a weapon randomly in a parking lot in broad daylight last week will remain in custody as he tries to develop a release plan.

Cruise Avery Webb, 30, of no fixed address, appeared in Fredericton provincial by video from the Saint John Regional Correctional Centre on Tuesday, scheduled to go through a bail hearing.

He faces indictable counts of robbery, assault and assault with a weapon, alleging offences against Sandra Nason the evening of June 26 in Fredericton.
