A Fredericton man was sentenced to a mandatory stint in jail Tuesday after being busted in 2022 for the third time for an impaired-driving-related offence.

Clint Austin Fullarton, 39, of Meuse Court, appeared in Fredericton provincial court Tuesday to be sentenced for having an elevated blood-alcohol level within two hours of driving, and driving while prohibited by a court order.

He committed the crimes Nov. 26, 2022, in Fredericton.

He’d previously denied the charges and went to trial earlier this year, but after some testimony, he opted to change his pleas to guilty.
