A man accused of wounding someone in Fredericton last year denied the allegation Wednesday, even though his lawyer says she’s yet to receive disclosure despite repeated requests.

Hilton Fredericks, 26, of Bear Trap Point Road in Maxwell, about 40 kilometres south of Woodstock, appeared by telephone in Fredericton provincial court Wednesday from the Saint John Regional Correctional Centre.

He faces a March 21, 2023, count of aggravated assault, alleging he wounded or endangered the life of a male complainant.

That complainant is identified only by initials on the Fredericton Police Force charge, which suggests that individual is a minor.
