ATV, power tools, fuel were stolen in July 3 burglary at seasonal residence, say Mounties
The RCMP has identified the male suspect caught on video during an alleged break-in in the area of Long Creek between Sussex and Fredericton, the force now reports.
The Sussex detachment of the RCMP issued a news release Thursday morning about an investigation into a break, enter and theft in Long Creek, located about an hour’s drive east of Fredericton.

“The theft is believed to have occurred during the overnight hours of July 3, 2025, from a seasonal residence on Goshen Road in the community,” it said.
“An individual forcefully gained entry by breaching the front door. He stole an all-terrain vehicle (ATV), power tools, gas and propane.”
The ATV has since been recovered, police reported.
The Mounties released stills from surveillance footage depicting the suspect.
In an update posted online Tuesday morning, the RCMP reported that the individual had been identified and it thanked the public for its assistance in putting a name to the face.
