RCMP probes vandalism in Doaktown
Mounties seek information from public on rash of property damage in village July 1 and 2
The Village of Doaktown has been plagued with a vandalism spree this week, with damage being done to vehicles and properties, and the police are hoping the public help with the investigation.
The Doaktown detachment of the RCMP issued a news release Thursday after a rash of property-damage incidents earlier in the week.
“Between July 1 and July 2, 2025, the Doaktown RCMP received several reports of vehicles and properties being vandalized in the Village of Doaktown,” it said.
Police turned to the public Thursday for information on the offences. The RCMP is urging anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the village between July 1 and 2, or who otherwise has relevant information to call the Doaktown detachment at 506-365-4700.
