A 34-year-old man is dead and a 17-year-old boy is in custody, the New Brunswick RCMP reports, and the force’s major crime unit is investigating a Monday morning incident in Nasonworth as a homicide.

Mounties had a residence at 70 Nelson Dr. in the community, about a 10-minute drive south of Fredericton, cordoned off Monday and were keeping bystanders back some distance.

A yellow tarp could be seen covering something in the driveway, but what it is couldn't be discerned.
