Probe into realtor’s death still active - cops
Police initially reported that officers hadn’t ruled out foul play in Jan. 8 death of Kevin MacDonald, 69, but after autopsy and continued investigation, they remain silent on case
It’s been three months since a popular realtor was found dead in a Fredericton home, but after weeks of investigation, police still won’t say if a crime was committed.
Kevin MacDonald, 69, who was a well-known real-estate agent in the capital for decades, was found dead in a southside home, the Fredericton Police Force reported in January.
“On Monday, Jan. 8, 2024, at approximately 21h20, [the] Fredericton Police Force responded to a call for service of a sudden death at a residence on the south side of Fredericton,” a police news release stated Jan. 12.
“At this time, police are unable to rule out foul play.”
