Parking-lot robbery suspect not seeking bail
Cruiz Avery Webb, 30, of no fixed address, reserves right to seek release at later date
A Fredericton man facing serious charges stemming from an alleged robbery in an uptown parking lot last month has abandoned his quest for release from custody - for now.
Cruiz Avery Webb, 30, of no fixed address, was remanded following his arrest on June 26 charges of robbing Sandra Nason, assaulting her and assaulting her with a weapon.
He appeared in Fredericton provincial court by video from the Saint John Regional Correctional Centre on Monday, scheduled to go through a bail hearing.
However, duty counsel Melinda Ponting-Moore told the court that Webb was no longer seeking to proceed with his bail hearing.
