Northside senior denies indecent-act charges
Alexandra Bain, 68, of Fredericton, will stand trial this summer on allegations from June 8
A Fredericton woman is headed to trial this summer on allegations she committed two indecent acts on the same date for the purpose of offending others.
Alexandra Bain, 68, of Charles Avenue, wasn’t present when her case was called in Fredericton provincial court Tuesday, but defence lawyer Sabrina Winters appeared for her.
Winters entered not-guilty pleas on her client’s behalf to two counts of committing indecent acts.
Both charges allege June 8 events and indicate Bain wilfully committing those actions “with intent to insult or offend some other person.”
Judge Scott Brittain scheduled Bain’s trial for July 23.

Editor’s note: An earlier version of this story indicated the defendant was 28 years old. She’s 68, according to court records. We regret the error.
