New counts for bogus-bucks suspect
Tyler Joshua Depow, 33, who’s set to be sentenced in Moncton later this month for counterfeit-cash crimes, faces new charges alleging offences in Albrights Corner in March
A New Brunswick man who’s awaiting sentencing on numerous counts of possessing and passing bogus bills at Fredericton-area businesses now faces another set of charges alleging another instance of it.
Tyler Joshua Depow, 33, formerly of Oromocto, appeared in Fredericton provincial court by telephone from jail Tuesday to face new charges.
The RCMP laid charges recently alleging he possessed 25 counterfeit US $20 bills and used them as if they were genuine in Albrights Corner, about 35 kilometres east of Fredericton, near Minto, on March 14.
