The Nackawic detachment of the RCMP issued a news release Tuesday afternoon about an offence in the early-morning hours of May 7 in Magaguadavic, about 65 kilometres southwest of Fredericton.

“The theft is believed to have occurred on May 7, 2025, between 1 a.m. and 3 a.m., at a seasonal home on Magaguadavic Siding Road in the community,” the release said.
“Two individuals broke into the home and stole various items, including a Browning lever action 22-calibre firearm, solar panels and a solar inverter.”
The duo fled the scene in a black vehicle, it said.
