More Westmorland bridge work this week
Transportation and Infrastructure says construction to be done on span’s southside ramp
Commuters who regularly use the Regent Street ramp from the Westmorland Street Bridge are going to see a change to their routine this week.
Through its online 511 map, the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure advises there will be construction throughout the week on the ramp leading from the Westmorland Street Bridge to Regent Street.
It will affect the lane, it said, and motorists are advised that they’ll need to be prepared to stop.
“Watch for equipment and persons working,” the advisory said.
The repair project is slated to begin Monday morning at 9 a.m. and continue until 7 p.m., and the construction is slated to repeat that schedule Tuesday through Friday as well.
Bridge traffic will undoubtedly be affected, so motorists can likely expect delays.
