A Bilijk (Kingsclear) First Nation man whom police announced as missing last week is now wanted on a warrant of arrest after failing to attend court Monday.

The Keswick detachment of the RCMP issued a news release May 28 to report that Callum James McGraw had been missing since earlier in May.

“Callum James McGraw was last seen on the morning of May 20, 2024, on Kingsclear First Nation,” the release said.

“Police have followed up on several leads to try and locate him, but have so far been unsuccessful. Police and his family are concerned for his well-being.”

Now police are searching for him for a different reason.

McGraw, 36, of Geegan Street, was scheduled to appear in Fredericton provincial court Monday.

He has a pending trial, and Monday’s proceedings were to monitor his case and confirm counsel.
