A Minto man is facing a potential extended stay in jail for a variety of offences he committed early in 2024, from cashing a stolen cheque to recklessly driving a stolen car as he fled from police.

A sentencing hearing was held in Fredericton provincial court Friday for Tye Evan Nichol, 27, of Northside Drive, who appeared in custody and in person.
