Minto man denies long list of charges
Court will set trial dates for Tye Evan Nichol, 26, during July case-management conference
Despite issues receiving disclosure from the Crown, a Minto man pleaded not guilty Monday to a varied list of criminal charges, including a break-in and possession of stolen property.
Tye Evan Nichol, 26, of Northside Drive, appeared in Fredericton provincial court in custody in person Monday, set to elect mode of trial and enter pleas on numerous counts.
“I do not have all disclosure,” defence lawyer Wanda Severns told the court.
Regardless, she said, her client wanted to elect trial by provincial court judge and plead not guilty to all counts.
